Did this one for a friend on deviantART. It was my first attempt at someone else’s original character and had a lot of fun with it. I think it has inspired me to start doing commissions through deviantART as well… been working on some things to gear up for it already, but may have to take some “Commissions 101” classes from some of my fellow deviants to figure out how the whole process works. We’ll see….

Well, after many long hours that I lost count of, I finally finished it.
… for the past 8 years, my wife has been nothing less to me than my very best friend, and no matter what I do, I could never repay her for all the love and support she has offered out to me over the years. I’m not always the best with expressing my feelings in actions or words, but I hope that this painting demonstrates to her that she is everything to me and that she’s what I’ve needed All My Life.
I would like to give credit to a couple of artists and their pieces of artwork that helped inspire this piece of work. MartinAbel “The Gift” for the wedding concept and Paul Cartwright “Red Flowers” for the color scheme. Both are fantastic artists!
